Feery's Leap
Alchemist's Stelae
The Windless Ring has found, uncovered evidence of, or obtained several of these miraculous stone tablets. They appear to have been non-magically altered to render them almost indestructible.
Each stela appears to have the same beginning and end passages, which indicate that seven once existed.
- The first tablet turned up in the caverns beneath a shrine to a devouring god called Tirnoth-Avoleth. It was used as a cutting surface in a sacrificial altar.
- The second stela has not been found, but the party uncovered impressions from it in a funeral shroud in the wilds of Tarsh. They have hired a hungry young scholar from Orgolash to research the tomb. While they are not yet ready to trust him with details about the shroud, they are hopeful that some leads might come to light.
- The third is believed to be in the clutches of the vampire alchemist known as the Silver Serpent. He gave them a parchment rubbing when he surrendered the Keep.
- The fourth was somehow broken. Valess brought the top half to the party’s attention, and left it in their care while she went to Vertigo to deal with a merchant-prince who claimed to have half a strange ancient tablet. She has not returned.
- The fifth has yet to be found.
- The sixth has yet to be found.
